A striking pair of vintage cut crystal small wine or sherry glasses, featuring a beautifully tactile tapered stem and the ever-classic star-cut base — rich in detail and weighty in the hand.
Each glass holds approximately 150ml, standing 15.5cm tall with a rim diameter of around 6cm.
The bowl is well-proportioned and finely cut with deep cross-hatched detail and diamond panels, while the stem steals the show — uniquely textured, faceted and flaring subtly into a sturdy foot.
The base features a radiant starburst pattern, often associated with mid-century English crystal design.
Though unmarked, this style is reminiscent of crystal produced in Europe.
Most likely made between the 1950s and 1970s, during a time when British crystal was enjoying a resurgence in formal dining and export.
Ideal for fortified wines, dessert wines, or elegant after-dinner drinks — these bring both sparkle and vintage character to any occasion. Would sit beautifully alongside other mid-century cut glassware in a collector’s cabinet.
