For sale is this beautiful large vintage crystal rose posy bowl – a stunning example of elegant craftsmanship that will make a statement in any home.
This bowl measures approximately 6.5 inches wide and 5.5 inches tall, with a substantial weight of just over 1.4 kilos, giving it a wonderfully solid feel in the hand.
It features a striking design of vertical flutes and cross-cuts, finished with a classic star-cut pattern to the base. This combination of cuts reflects the light beautifully, creating a sparkling display from every angle.
The bowl is in excellent condition with no chips or cracks, and only the lightest signs of age-related wear to the base, as you would expect from a vintage piece.
Likely produced in the late 20th century, this style of bowl was popular with leading crystal makers in both the UK and Ireland, sold through department stores and specialist retailers during the 1970s–1990s.
