A beautifully preserved Edwardian double jam or preserve jar set, featuring two glass jars with faceted sides, each resting in a classic EPNS silver-plated tray.

Complete with two matching solid silver spoons, this is a charming and elegant piece of antique tableware — ideal for serving jam, marmalade, pickles or mustard in traditional style.

The tray is marked EPNS (Electro Plated Nickel Silver), common in early 20th-century British silverplate tableware, and still has a lovely shine and classic form, with two open sections to hold the jars and an ornate central handle.

Each spoon is fully hallmarked solid sterling silver, stamped with:

Lion Passant – sterling silver mark

Anchor – the assay office for Birmingham

H – the date letter for 1907

Maker’s mark “W.H.H” – for William Henry Haseler, a respected Birmingham silversmith active in the Edwardian period

This all points to a manufacture date of 1907 in Birmingham, England — during the late Edwardian period.

Over 115 years old, this is a refined and useful antique piece in excellent condition for its age.
